The firm is one of the largest practices in the Medway Towns and North Kent, servicing clients across Kent, the South East and London.
We can help you with:
- Settlement (Compromise) Agreements
- Tribunal representation
- Unfair (Constructive) dismissal claims
- Redundancy advice
- Discrimination at work
- Whistleblowing/protected disclosures
We offer a number of funding options designed to help you control costs:
Initial Fixed Fee Meetings: We are happy to discuss your employment law issue(s) for a fixed fee of £250+VAT.
Settlement Agreements: A Settlement Agreement (formerly Compromise Agreement) is an agreement reached between an employee and employer under which an employer will agree to pay the employee compensation in return for the employee giving up the right to make a claim in the Employment Tribunal. Usually, an employer will pay our legal fees for providing advice to you in relation to the Agreement.
Employment Tribunals : We understand that many people fear legal costs. We aim to be transparent from the outset and provide realistic estimates. We are willing to discuss charging arrangements that suit you. Where possible we charge fixed fees so that you know precisely what our charges shall be from the start. Insurance: If you have legal expenses insurance the costs of Employment Tribunals are usually included. Legal expenses insurance may be included on your home, contents, or car insurance policies. You are entitled to choose your own solicitor. We suggest you contact your insurer as soon as you need legal advice and nominate Bassets Solicitors to represent you.
