Founded by James Basset in 1854, we are an independent firm of solicitors with offices in Rochester and Gillingham, Kent. We provide a full range of legal services for individuals and businesses and have been offering expert legal advice for more than 150 years.

We are a forward thinking practice with dedicated, professional and specialist staff. We endeavour to deal with every individuals legal affairs in a business-like and competent manner.

The firm is one of the largest practices in the Medway Towns and North Kent, servicing clients across Kent, the South East and London.

We are conveniently located in Rochester and Gillingham and can arrange home visits. Both offices are accessible by public transport and are situated close to local bus routes and are only a few minutes walk away from the local railway stations. We have limited facilities for disabled clients and public parking is available in close proximity to each office.

Our aim is to provide a high quality standard of advice and technical expertise that is competitive in price. We deal with both private clients and those that are eligible for public funding in relation to family and criminal matters. The firm has the Quality Mark Standard from the Legal Aid Agency.
